The PIA-PR Affiliate Membership Roster

In 1997, PIA-PR incorporated the Affiliate Membership concept and invited a select group of pharmaceutical industry suppliers, vendors, consultants and professionals participate to forge a mutually beneficial long term alliance. Chosen because of their tradition of support to the pharmaceutical industry, these organizations are representative of PIA-PR’s business partners and have enriched the PIA-PR member companies with their quality products and services. BRIGHTON ASSOCIATES, L.L.C.

Brighton Associates, LLC, founded in 1996, is a Life Sciences consulting firm located in Barrington, Illinois that has been offering consulting services in Puerto Rico for over five years. We consist of Industry experienced professionals with the proven methodologies to develop and IMPLEMENT solutions in pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech, animal health, nutritional and other FDA regulated companies. 

Caribbean Architects & Engineers

Caribbean Architects & Engineers has been offering integrated architectural/engineering services to the pharmaceutical industry for the last 40 years. It has a staff of over 60 professionals specialized in pharmaceutical design in the fields of architecture, process architecture, process and equipment, civil, structural, mechanical, HVAC, electrical and instrumentation & controls. Services offered range from feasibility studies, master planning, conceptual design, construction documents preparation, construction support services and other specialized service such as Environmental/Permits, validation support, on-site project management, in-plant design, project controls and others. As an affiliate of Fluor we have the capability to offer our clients worldwide resources to meet its project’s engineering needs as well as construction, validation and maintenance services. CA&E’s client’s portfolio includes most of the pharmaceutical plants in Puerto Rico, and it was the first engineering company to receive the ISO 9001 Certification. Our drafting resources are trained to work on ACAD, Microstation, and 3D Modeling.

Caribbean Industrial Construction

Caribbean Industrial Construction, S.E. (CIC) serves pharmaceutical, industrial and commercial industries as General Contractor in Puerto Rico. CIC is a locally owned company established in 1983 by Fred Gallo and Gustavo A. Hermida. It’s theme, Building Better Tomorrows, has been the driving force behind the company’s success. Key to CIC’s successful growth is its firm belief in being 100% client oriented, quality driven, and safety conscience, and its cost containment and schedule awareness. CIC initially began general contracting pharmaceutical projects, including renovations, GMP upgrades, expansions and new facilities construction, such as sterile and clean rooms. Caribbean Project Management

Caribbean Project Management (CPM), a leading Construction Management firm established in Puerto Rico in 1991 by Francisco G. Arteaga, PE, provides its clients a highly qualified team of professionals to manage their projects from inception to completion. CPM has successfully managed new facility construction projects, remodeling of existing facilities, cGMP compliance upgrades and start-up & commissioning services in chemical and pharma-biotech plant environments. CPM has also been instrumental in the successful completion of critical work scheduled during short-term shutdowns. Clendo Reference Lab

This locally owned, private corporation—with over 25 years of experience—began as a Clinical Reference laboratory in May 1981. Today, this group of industrial, clinical and occupational health laboratories responds to the wide range of market expectations of its client companies: hospitals; government agencies; food, water and environmental companies; and the pharmaceutical industry. Estudios Tecnicos Inc.

Estudios Técnicos Inc. (ETI): With 21 years of experience and a staff of 29 professionals ETI is Puerto Rico's principal economic and planning consulting firm. ETI has a record of strong participation in policy-related initiatives, including the preparation of the Puerto Rico External Trade Strategic Plan, PRIDCO’s current strategic plan, Puerto Rico Capital Markets reform, and initiatives in the area of science and technology, among others.
