Labor Environment and Compliance

We are committed to create the best labor environment possible for the pharmaceutical industry and to comply with all local and federal regulations.

In order to do so we will maintain a high level of ethical conduct and will promote a principles and values-driven company culture in the industry by developing innovative culture and employee-relations programs. We will also contribute to the development of new management professionals needed to lead change in the years to come.

Our initiatives will contribute to maintain the stable presence that the pharmaceutical industry has always have in the Puerto Rican community, even under the current highly competitive labor market.

Regarding compliance of local and federal regulations, the pharmaceutical industry in Puerto Rico is highly regulated by local and federal laws, which in some instances are even above the requirements of many other locations, making it more difficult to maintain our industry's competitiveness in the global markets. Since we are committed to the continuous development of the local pharmaceutical industry, we will assure the compliance commitment of our workforce to existing regulations. Also, we will influence new labor regulations that are under development or consideration that might affect our industry in order to guarantee our industry's competitiveness and continuous growth in the island.
